This is the context specific help for Web Log Analysis by Search Term for function Date range Options for Analyse. It will be show when Shift+F1 is pressed after using menu item Date range Options for Analyse on menu "Select".

Date Range to be analysed
Enter the range of dates that will be analysed.
If dates are changed using, data must always be analysed again to restrict the analysed data to the new date range. Press OK and select a report to create to do analysis again.
Show Line for Users NOT referred by a search engine.
Check this option to add a single line for all users who were not referred by a search engine.
Counts for this group of users will be shown on a line with search term:

Avg htm & Surf thru to page - File Types to skip [y]
This option defines the results columns:
- Surf thru to page
- Avg htm pages
Surf thru to page - For each Search Term, Web Log Analyzer by Search Term will make a list of pages to which users finding your site using that keyword surfed to. This list is also used to determine whether a user surfed to other pages on our site and the no. of pages is counted ans shown in column Avg htm pages.
Avg htm pages - shows the average number of pages which each visitor viewed.
This list should be file types which cannot be counted for any of these report items. Usually all image file types and the css file will be included here.
Both File Type lists must be file types (case - capitalization - is not important) seperated by | character.
Version 2.1 onwards: This file type list is also used to determine:
Start (found) page - the first file not skipped will be considered the start page.
Exit page, visited page - only files not skipped will be counted
pages visited in sequence - ...
Avg htm. - File Types to count. [p]
This option defines the results column "Avg htm pages"
It is also used to determine whether user stayed on site (always plotted as green target) or not.
The column "Avg htm pages" shows the average number of pages which each visitor viewed. Only pages with filetype in this list will be counted.
A user will be counted as having stayed on site if he surfed to any second page with a type in this list. NB pages are listed in the surf thru to column even when they are *not* on this list.
Only pages in this list will be counted. File types skipped cannot be counted.
