'Save Set' - Program Help start.
This option is used to save a permanent copy of all pages in a set. The set can then be closed and loaded again at any time in the future using Open Saved Set.
Enter a directory [Folder] here to contain the saved set info (.KYBS file) and the main page (.HTML file) for each item in the lists. Additional subdirectories [subfolders] will be created to contain components of pages saved and getem info.
A seperate copy of every page in all of the lists will be created when the set is saved. Pages which were grabbed [currently in the KybIE cache} will be copied as well as any pages saved using K Save Page [F2]. The copy of the page or image saved when you used F2 will still exist as well as the new copy created as part of the saved set.
The name of the file for the saved set is the current date and time plus the set name entered using Info. Link Lists. Sets - Select from List of Sets. The set name is shown in the yellow block on the KybIE screen when Show Set Name is checked.
There is no problem to save several sets in a single directory [folder] although it is usually better for future housekeeping to enter a new directory name for the saved set.
Note that a saved set *CANNOT* be moved to a separate directory or folder using Kyboma or any other Windows Explorer replacement program. To move a saved set first Load the set using Open Saved Set, then save it to the new directory. You can then use Kyboma or Windows explorer to delete the folder containing the original version.
After a set has been saved or if a set was loaded from a saved set using Open Saved Set, you will be prompted whether to replace the set and all pages. Replace will overwrite the lists of links, pages and images as well as each page in the set. If you choose not to overwrite you can enter a new folder and a completely seperate set will be created.
