1. Fetching and Viewing Links. What do the colours mean?
KybIE GetEmAll allows you to get many links with a single keypress. Use key F7.
View each available page in turn using F8.
To learn how to do this:
a Select the following links and press F7.
b press F8 to view each link. The last link will return here.
Use F7 to request selected Links
Use F8 to display available pages
Return to tutorial step 1

2. How to View List of Links. Changing Which Links are Fetched.
To see the list of available [Green] links or the list of Viewed [Purple] links, Keep the Ctrl key pressed and click on the box for that colour with the mouse.
To show the KybIE menu right click anywhere on the KybIE screen.
Most functions mentioned so far are also available from the menus.
To get all links from the page when F7 is pressed rather than only the selected ones, click the menu option "Selected Only" to uncheck it.
Now press F7 again and you will see a warning as the number of links to be fetched is high.
The Links to be fetched can also be restricted using a rule with the menu option "Get Only Links Containing ..."

3. Options to Show-Hide Pictures and to disable-enable scripts and plug-ins.
Most other KybIE functions - e.g. display a list of links in any of the lists and specify what to fetch - are accessible from the KybIE context menu.
Right Click on the Kybie window to show the KybIE menu. You can also press Ctrl+Q on any Internet Explorer window to show the kybIE menu.
To continue with the tutorial selectthis link now and press F7.Then Press F8 so this text is displayed again.
On this menu you can choose whether pictures on pages fetched by KybIE shoudl be displayed or not. Click item "Show Images" on the menu now so that it is unchecked. This page will then be redisplayed with out images. The following pictures will be hidden:

Simply press Ctrl+M to check the Show Images menu item and redisplay the page again.
This feature is especially useful for reading message boards and news sites where you are interested first in only the text. Im Show Images is not checked then KybIE will not download the pictures and the page will be fetched much faster.
This option will not however affect how other pages are displayed. KybIE does *NOT* change Internet Explorer options. In fact, KybIE makes absolutely no changes to Internet Explorer at all. Nevertheless, many functions are available with keys directly from any Internet Explorer window.
This is important because changes made to Internet Explorer will sometimes cause a problem with sites or other programs that previously worked fine. Since KybIE operates independantly and externally, it cannot cause anything to break.
Any page that needs cookies and some pages that use scripts or plug ins should be loaded using Internet Explorer and not requested using KybIE. This will work exactly as it did before KybIE was installed.
An especially useful feature of KybIE is the F9 - cycle key. Simply press F9 to switch easily between all open IE windows.

4. Introduction to the shortcut keys. How to Get Help.
With KybIE you can use keys to show the context menu, to see the list of links for any colour, even making the use of multiple Internet Explorer windows easier.
A UNIQUE feature of KybIE is that all Keys even work on popup message screens.
Most software would require you to:
- click a button or hit escape to hide the message first
- then right click with the mouse to get a menu
- and then find the menu option you want.
KybIE allows the shortcut key for the function to be pressed on the menu screen.
Another important shortcut key is Ctrl+Q which will show the KybIE menu. Ctrl+Q can be used from most KybIE message screens and from any Internet Explorer (IE) window.
To show the list for each colour a shortcut key is available with letters corresponding to the letters used on all menu s. Ctrl+Shift+ B, A, G, P and J will show the Blue, Amber, Green, Purple and Red/rejected lists respectively.
An important guarantee with KybIE is that NO CHANGES have been made to Internet Explorer. So any page that worked previously in Internet Explorer (IE) will work in just the same way now. Pages that need cookies and most pages that use scripts (e.g. chat) should be loaded directly in a seperate Internet Explorer window.
To make use of other Internet Explorer (IE) windows easier, the F9 key is defined to allow you to switch more easily between the open IE windows.
For a complete list of keys available from Internet Explorer windows, press Alt+Shift+F1
To display the context specific help for the last function used at any time, press Alt+F1
This is the end of the beginners tutorial. There is a lot more info in this help file. To make skim-reading of the most important parts easier, we have highlighted a summary of the most important features in green. Simply scroll down through both this page and the Menu Items help page.
Additionally extra features available only with KybIE Pro are highlighted in purple.
If you have further questions, you can always contact support@1keytools.com

Use F7 to request selected Links.
The links will be placed in the green list if they are on your computer.
The links will be placed in the blue list if they must be fetched from the internet.
The coloured boxes show how many pages are in each list and the set name:
| no of Requested Links | no of Incomplete Pages | Name of Set (GetEmAll Pro Only) |
| no of Rejected Links | no of Available Pages | no of Viewed pages |
Once a page from the green list has been viewed, it is moved to the purple list.
Now Press F8 again to display the second link

More Info - Tutorial step 1 - Use F7 to request selected Links.
F7 is one of the most important keys for using KybIE. F7 will request links from the current Internet Explorer (IE) page.
To request a group of selected links, Select the links and press the F7 key on your keyboard. Links will be added to one of the lists according to whether they are already available or not.
In the status bar (bottom line of Internet Explorer) you will see a message that:
- 3 links are added to the green list (they are links to KybIE help pages and are available from your computer).
On the KybIE window, the corresponding numbers appear in the coloured blocks.
NB At this time, KybIE will also save:
- a copy of the page you are displaying
- The link text

Use F8 to display available pages
F8 is the second very important key for using KybIE.
F8 will display each of the available Pages/Links in turn.
When you pressed F8 first, you were shown the first of the links that you selected.
When you pressed F8 again you were shown the second link.
These links were in the green list because the page was available. Once they have been viewed they are moved to the purple list.
The items will be displayed from the list(s) which are marked with an *
Click on any of the coloured boxes to change the list which is being viewed.
Click on the purple block now.
Then use F8 to view the first two links again.
When finished, click on the blue block. Note that both Amber (partial) and Green (available) lists are marked with an *. Green items will be displayed first and then any amber items if all green items have been viewed.
Select the green list and press F8 again when you are ready to return to the tutorial.

More Info - Tutorial step 1 - Use F8 to display available pages.
As soon as you have pages in the amber list or green list (when the number in the box of that colour is 1 or more), you can display the page.
Press F8 to display the next available page.
When F8 is used to show the next link, the link text for that page and the item number from the list will be shown in the Internet Explorer status bar.
Any page from the complete (green) list that has been viewed is moved to the purple list.
Press F8 again to display the following page.
If you are viewing the purple list a message will be displayed when the end of the list is reached. F8 can be used directly on the message screen to start again at the top of the list.
Pages on the amber list are those for which the basic text / structure is available but not all pictures and/or formatting elements have been received. Pages on the amber list may or may not be displayed correctly and may be incomplete.
A useful extra key available only with KybIE Pro is Shift+F8 which displays the next item in a new window. Otherwise KybIE items are generally always displayed in the same Internet Explorer (IE) window. If you navigate to a differrent location by clicking on links in that window however, a new Internet Explorer window will be created the next time you press F8.

KybIE GetEmAll - What Is It
KybIE GetEmAll - When To Use It
KybIE GetEmAll - Why Buy It
KybIE GetEmAll - What Is It
KybIE GetEmAll is a tool for easier faster browsing using IE.
KybIE GetEmAll allows you to get many links with a single keypress.
It will get the pages without hanging your computer. You can continue to use IE or other programs.
KybIE GetEmAll will keep the pages so they can be read off-line / later. It will even remember what you requested - keep pages fetched when Windows crashes.
Example:Select four or five news articles that you want to read and press F7. KybIE will request the pages whilst you can continue doing something else.
The pages will be retrieved in the background and the counters on the KybIE coloured blocks will indicate when pages are available.
Once pages have been fetched, press F8 to view the first page and then F8 to view each other page in turn.
Keeps the pages you asked for and allows you to browse them offline later at your leisure.
Unlike Other offline browsers KybIE GetEmAll simply loads the pages to IE. So no new browser to learn and no new set of bugs to annoy you.
KybIE GetEmAll - When To Use It
KybIE can be used on any site.
It is perhaps most useful for fetching news articles and messages / ads from a message board.
Select multiple threads or replies on a message board and get them all at once.
Select your news articles you want to read with the mouse and press F7. Get all the articles with one keypress. Get many pages at the same time.
Select all the ads on a classified page and request them with one keystroke.
When articles and all images are available, the green counter will increase. You simply press F8 to view each article in turn. Since all data is already on your hard disk, this will be much quicker and more reliable than clicking each link.
KybIE will greatly speed up the checking of search results.
Options on the KybIE menu can be checked to skip images, scripts and plug ins on each fetched page. For search results you will often want to see first only the text from the page and then select only those pages for which you want to see images etc.

There will be at least one major version this year allowing a set to be saved as well as other major extra features.
At KBM Software we believe that the business model of charging loyal users for new versions of a product that has essentially the same functions is not acceptable. Often (especially the biggest) software makers expect you to pay again when they have done little more than fix some of the bugs in the previous version. We strongly disagree with this practice and guarantee never to employ it.
We are committed to develop KybIE GetEmAll to allow easier ways to select, fetch and read links offline using Internet Explorer (IE). All users who purchased The current version of KybIE GetEnAll Pro will be able to use all future versions of KybIE GetEnAll Pro.
NB (disclaimer) Other Kybie products *will* be created and developed that have a different function but use the KybIE sets concept. For Example, planned releases for the next year are KybIE 10homes giving you the ability to define 10 home pages. KybIE QuickSave will allow quick ways to save pages and quotes from parts of pages as KybIE sets.

Mouse functions and Shortcut keys
Some Std Shortcut keys
Restriction on Mouse Functions
The Windows Right Click Key
Some Std Shortcut keys
KybIE and Kyboma offer many shortcut keys. Also the ability to define more or different ones.
Some keys which are standard across the product range are
Y - cycle
Q - right click
Z - double click
X - sort
Additionally, many of the KybIE shortcut keys are available on *ALL* message screen.
Using a shortcut key on a message screen will generally have the same effect as pressing Cancel and then using the shortcut key.
Example:
From the list of green (complete) links,
- Ctrl+Shift+J will hide the green list and show the red list.
- Ctrl+Q will then hide the red list and show the KybIE menu.
On any List the double click and sort keys will often be useful:
If a text or URL is too long to fit into the list, you can view the whole text using Ctrl+double-click or Ctrl+double-click-key [Z].
The list can be sorted by any column. Simply double click the header for the column or press the sort list key [X].
NB These features and shortcut keys are standard across the Kyboma and KybIE product range. The keys are selected so that the same shortcut keys are available in multiple products.
Restriction on Mouse Functions
NB All mouse functions on the KybIE counters screen are not available when a list or other KybIE message is being displayed. This includes right click to see the KybIE menu, click to select List colour, Ctrl+Click to show the list for that colour, etc.
It is simple to see when a KybIE list or message is being shown as the area of the KybIE counters screen that is usually white will turn blue when a message is displayed.
An (anyway faster) alternative is to use the shortcut key as described here. E.g. press Ctrl+Q to show the KybIE menu. This key is available from any list or message screen and will have the same effect as pressing Escape to hide the message and then using right click on the KybIE screen.
The Windows Right Click Key
When you press the right click key available on many keyboards from Internet Explorer (IE), both the IE context menu and the KybIE menu will be shown.
The Up/Down keys will work on the Kybie menu.
To use up/down keys on the IE context menu, first press Esc to hide the KybIE menu.
To hide both menus press Esc twice.
Keys can be removed or changed if you buy Kybie GetEmAll Pro.
