Do I need to do any extra work to use KybIE as a web accelerator

Web Accelerator - What Is It

A web accelerator is software that saves some or all of the pages on your hard disk.
When they are needed again the Web Accelerator will get the pages from your hard disk instead of requesting them from the web site. This is much quicker.

Note that whilst a web accelerator will reduce the time taken to load pages, KybIE goes one better by not making you wait for pages at all. Internet explorer will usually wait for a response from a site which may be across the world before it will allow you to continue doing something else. Worse internet explorer and/or the comunications software components sometimes crash during this process. KybIE offers an alternative to that mess. It will do the same work of contacting a remote site, however it is always done in a totally seperate process which you will never see. This means if that process hangs or crashes it is much much likely to afftect you at all. This allows you to continue using internet explorer but in a safer more reliable and more freindly way.

The pages are fetched in the background and once you view them from the green list *all* the pages are on your hard disk, we believe KybIE is by far the best web accelerator available.
